"Schilling will make rehab start Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA -- Red Sox ace Curt Schilling threw five innings of a simulated game (84 pitches) today, and is scheduled to make his first rehab start Wednesday for Triple-A Pawtucket in Charlotte, the Globe’s Gordon Edes reported.
He will be held to between 75-80 pitches on Wednesday against the Knights, a White Sox affiliate.
Schilling has been on the disabled list for most of the season with an ankle injury, and will probably make two rehab starts before returning to the Sox. That timetable would make it possible for him to return July 8 or 9 at Camden Yards. The team's last game before the All-Star break is July 10.
Schilling also threw a simulated game on Monday, tossing about 60 pitches.http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/File-Based_Image_Resource/dingbat_story_end_icon.gif"
