  1. Why is it that the first yankee to chime in is on a post about A-Rod is always speaking as if offended. Like we made fun of your mom or something man. If someone said something that is false or out of line 9 times out of 10 we (other Red Sox fans) will take care of it. You dont have to get all defensive about it. Obviously people look way too far into quotes by A-Rod, but don't be surprised about it when it happens. Especially if it's a Red Sox fan that is speaking on it. This is exactly why all Yankees fans should be gathered up and put on a secluded island somewhere. They can't play well with others.
  2. I am officially a NON-FAN of Johnny Damon. This friggin pre-madonna needs a good punch in the face. What is he trying to do start a f***ing mutany? He's going around taking polls and s***. Stick to baseball Johnny. It's what your kind of good at.
  3. I was talking to my dad last night and he said that he heard Tito on the radio say something about Schilling making a comment about assuming the closer role for a little bit  . Is this true!!!!! If it is true I think that he would just come in and dominate that position.
  4. Boone was quoted in an interview with ESPN saying, "There was no anger. It was kind of sad," Boone said. "Once it happened, I went home. I just wanted to collect myself and watch and think about what happened. I want to go get a fresh start somewhere. I want to win." He added that he wants to go to a team where he'll be an everyday player. Unfortunately I dont think that boon or Bellhorn if traded anywhere, are a starter caliber. Maybe we need a new second baseman emphasis on MAYBE, but Brett Boone is not the answer. We might get lucky if we picked him up but that is way too much money to be paying for luck if you ask me. :thumbdown  V-TEK ROCKS!!!!!!
  5. I just got done reading an article on ESPN.COM about how baseball would profit from having instant replay. I have to say that I am a supporter for this. The idea is to use the cameras in the ball park, "not to second guess the umpires, but to help them". The instant replay would have areas that it couldnt touch though, such as the strike zone. The four main areas of concern for the replay would be: 1. Safe or Out - Let's face it there have been some HUGE blunders in umpiring in this area. (I added in Safe or Out. The following three were ESPN's choices) 2. Home Run (Over the wall or on top of the wall) 3. Fair Ball or Foul 4. Fan Interfearance These things are cut and dry for the most part, "where the camera never lies". Baseball is already slow. It is not like you would be slowing the game down much. I just wanted to get you guys and gals opinion on this one. I am all for it as long as it makes the game better. Hope to get a good turn out for this one. V-TEK ROCKS!!!!!
  6. Good Call Sizzlin. Yesterday ESPN posted the following statement made by the Red Sox. The Red Sox said Tuesday that Keith Foulke, who closed out all four games in the World Series, would return to Boston to have MRI exams on both of his knees. The right-hander is 5-5 with a 6.23 ERA and 15 saves, and two of his four blown saves have come in the last week. - ESPN.COM
  7. Love the sarcasm "Boner"!!!! You dont mind if I call you Boner do you? Joe, buddy, listen. Go find a busy highway (95, or even the Mass Pike.) and play Frogger "Real Life". Your making my head hurt. MILAR PLAYS FIRST, end of story. That is why Tito is the manager and not some "meatball" like yourself. If theres one thing I like to pride myself in as a Red Sox fan is LOYALTY. Terry Francona has earned my trust and loyalty. I will defend him like I would defend my own family. If you dont like the criticism (which is an integral part of Chat Forums) then do us all a favor and skidaddle. Yeah thats right I said SKIDADDLE!!!!!
  8. Look, the ENTIRE Red Sox team ooooozes class all the way down to the friggin bat boy. The only Yankee that comes to mind when talking about class is Jeter. And when it comes to the fans, since when is "class" a requirement to be a Red Sox fan. :harhar: What the hell does it matter if I go around calling all the Yankees and their fan's a bunch of Fu%&ING FAGS. I have your class right here PU$$Y!!!!
  9. How right you are "Youk". Come on Joe, that mentality is what put us in the hole 86 friggin years. :thumbdown
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gals. To answer some of your questions, I am not do back to the states at all really. My home station is in Italy so when I finish up here (only god knows when) I will return back to Italy (I know tough life ). We have community computers that we can use in our downtime, which there is a serious lack of. I can usually get about 30 minutes a week on a computer. Just enough time to come on here and talk with "MY PEOPLE". I just saw Varitek's picture on the front of the new ESPN Magazine. ROCK ON!!! It's about time he got the recognition he deserves. I'm not sure if any of you go on ESPN.COM often but no more than a month ago he was on the top ten "overpaid" players list for the majors :thumbdown . Now his "grill" is on the front of they're stinkin magazine. . Anyway, thanks again for the warm welcome and thanks "VARIGIRL" you've got a sweet username too. I'm out!!!!!! "V-TEK" ROCKS
  11. Hello all my fellow Red Sox NUTS!!!!!! I just wanted to check in and let you know that the Red Sox nation is in full effect over here in Iraq with the Air Force. I have marked our territory with a Red Sox flag and harass Yankees fans :harhar: on a daily basis. Keep the faith!!!! V-Tek ROCKS!!!!!!!
