Boston sports media people are mostly jackasses. I like Ryan, but he's a jackass, too. Borges is, plain and simple, a douche bag. Holley is good, but... I often don't agree with him. Most of the guys on WEEI are douche bags, too, especially Ted. I think the only Boston journalist I respect is Bob Hohler, who really only writes game stories.

I know it's still early in the season, but Timlin (and the rest of the bullpen) is frankly worrying me. It looks like we might be in for a reprise of last season, despite the new additions (specifically Foulke). I hope they find their control soon...

Pedro won't get traded. He has too high a contract for all but a couple teams to take on, and he's an injury risk. Also, the Sox would probably have to take on another high salary to balance out Pedro's.

Meh. Well, now we've all had a look at his pitching. That'll probably help Tito decide whether he'll keep letting him pitch.

I would trade BK + for Soriano in a second. I'm sure the Rangers want to deal him, cuz he isn't exactly cheap either, and they'd probably take young pitching happily.

Well, I think he just pitched today becuase the bullpen was burned out from last night, and they were down by 5 anyhow. I agree, though, that he should only be used in emergencies, and hit the rest of the time.

Yeah, the speedy guy is more exciting to me than the big, lumbering gorillas you see all over the place these days. Stolen bases are awesome.

Oh, for the love of Johnny Damon (Jesus, get it?), baseball season just started. Sit back and enjoy it for a couple weeks before you start bitching. Then if the Sox are still below .500 or something, bitch to your heart's content. Hell, I'll join you. But just let the fact that it's now baseball season soak in and enjoy that feeling first.

I'm sure Theo wouldn't have a problem finding a taker for BK. Remember, he is only 25 or something, and he has shown flashes of brilliance before. I'd like to have him in the 5 spot, IF he can get his head back on straight. But I'd definitely like to see what Bronson can do over a full season. And Roary, it doesn't matter if he was dropped. Remember, the Sox tried to drop Manny over the offseason as well (albiet under very different circumstances...).
