  1. Yankee fans booing A-Rod. Balco Chants at Giambi. Leaving after the 5th inning... all Sox fans in the park. LMAO, I love it. To hear Yankee fans talk about getting Randy Johnson or Zito is just hilarious... how pathetic is that? It ain't gonna work. The Sox don't even have Nixon or Nomar! The Yankees pitching is so depleted that they are throwing Vazquez up against Pedro on three days rest...can't wait to hear how done P-Mart is when he dominates with an 89 mph fastball.
  2. Schilling could've thrown 150 pitches today! Man, what an outing. I believe he topped at 96 MPH. "Wicked Hahd", Indeed.
  3. Don't they have enough professional sports franchises over there? Aren't there like 10 or so teams from different sports in NYC/NJ... that is quite enough..
  4. Don't have one.
  5. Kind of like Game 7? You could hear a pin drop the first 7 innings. "We want Pedro!"... Yeah, after 110 pitches, sure you do. That is like beating your dad in an arm wrestling match after he's had a stroke and trying to gloat about it. Nothing amazing or honorable about it.
  6. Francona is using it as a way to sandwich Wakefield in between Pedro and Schilling. With the rainout, Pedro will still be pitching Thursday night against Baltimore with Wakefield opening up against the Yanks followed by Schilling on Saturday night. I don't know what all the fuss is about... He'll be starting at YANKEE STADIUM against them in the following series in April. That will be even tougher on him.. of course they are playing this off as if Pedro is somehow afraid of them....That's just hilarious, IMO. Afraid... right. As for Thursday night against the Orioles... They are dead men walking.
  7. Funny thing is that it isn't Pedro's decision. He'll start against them at Yankee Stadium in the following series with the Yanks anyway so who cares what they say. It's strategy.
  8. The Sox apparently going to skip Arroyo this week and have Pedro go on Thursday night against Baltimore. Time for some payback. A lot of people are really questioning this move and I really don't know why. All Pedro is doing is pitching on his regular 4 days rest. Besides, the Yankees have seen him so much that it's ridiculous... they don't need to see him again and again. He'll be starting the game against them on Sunday the following week anyway. 9. Ortiz delivers yet AGAIN. I love him.
  10. I don't WTF is up with him but this is getting OLD... Pedro went deep last night and Schilling pitched 8... Now our weak Pen is going to be worn out again. It's a good thing they have tomorrow off. Lowe should have another good outing.
  11. Are you s***ing me, KAPLER?!
  12. uhh.. Right now I wouldn't get rid of Pedro for anything.
  13. I've got no problem with Ryan. He, Edes and Holley are all OK by me.
  14. I think he is going to keep his posts on SoSH. He said he would like to make contributions on everyone's board but he obviously a very busy man and doesn't want his posts scattered. He doesn't see his posts on Sosh as being just for them, but for all fans. The questions that are asked and the things he talks about are as important and relevant as it can get. I suppose he just wants real discussion and not "What's your favorite color?" talk... not that anyone here would ask that. How many popular Sox boards are out there (?) I've got these bookmarked: Talk Sox Wicked East Coast Sons of Sam Horn 67 Was Best The Remy Report Red Sox Official Oh yeah, Gehrig38's line prediction: 8 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 10 K He is going to fight Terry Francona to come out for the 9th... not yet, C. He'll do it next Friday against the MFY's though.
