I applaud you, Fens. Although I do agree with Beane about draft strategy, I have been convinced (partially by yeszir actually) that the OBP stuff is crap. For example, stolen bases are rediculously underated, and I hate how some managers flat-out refuse to bunt.
Take, for example, a runner on first with no one out. If he steals second, a ground ball to the right side gets him to third with one out. Without the steal, a ground ball would probably get the double play. I ask you this: what is better, runner on third with one out, or bases empty, two outs?
