    I really think there is room for argument between those top three. We tied the Cardinals for record last month and have done better since, and in last 20 games our record is similar to Astros. My order would be: Sox Stros Cardinals

    Other than his last start, in which he pitched better than his stats, Bronson has been really hot as of late. I'm looking for another good performance tonight.

    Glavine would be very much like Schill (in that he's an excellent veteran pitcher, not that he pitches similarly), and having another Schill wouldn't be too bad...

    As long as we keep this up we don't have to worry about what other teams are doing because we're playing better than anyone else at the moment.

    I'm becoming increasivngly confident in Bronson, I hope he continues to rebound from his rough couple of months. His last few have been very good.

    Ouch, bad loss. Many people will criticize Tito for sending Kapler, but it was not neccessarily a bad move.

    I have really been impressed by Mendoza. He seems like, dare I say it, Yankees form.

    Just a testament to the Boston fans: only in Boston could I be eating with my family at Ken's Steakhouse, a relatively nice restaurant, and then hear a HUGE cheer coming from the bar as Billy Mueller hits a walkoff homerun.

    This was a good game, why do people only want to talk about the loss?

    I really think the only positive of this trade is blocking Yankees from getting RJ. It's a HUGE case of RENT-A-PLAYER, which I hate, Nomar's been turning it around, and I don't want Pokey playing every day. Also, Manny's hammy makes Nomar even more important.

    A few things I don't like about this game: Wake's incosistancy Nelson Manny not playing Nelson Anyway, barring a HUGE comback against a great bullpen, we lose yet another road series.

    I'd say bring him down to AAA to boost his confidence. He probably has in his mind that he can't hit major league pitching and that's part of his...er...slump. He is also the most overrated player in Red Sox history.

    I am finally on the Fire the Franc bandwagon. After leaving Schilling in to rot after 100 pitches and a 7-1 lead, I have to say the guys in charge made a mistake.

    I was at the game so I didn't see any replays. Was it a bad throw? Or did Damon make a great slide? Exciting game, would've rathered seen it 7-1 though.
