  1. He DOES check his ass alot : You pointed out something I've noticed and never thought twice about! I think we need to support him at least til the end of the year... what if he reads this stuff we all write? You never know! The team now isn't the solid crew we need to win, and pray when N + T come back the chemistry will all gel- I can't WAIT to see Trot "trot" into right, and we need Crespo "No-mar" .... Get back SOON GUYS! GO LOWE !!!! I still love you.
  2. Didn't he start really shaky LAST year only to end up with 17 wins? If it weren't for him we wouldn't beaten the A's in the ALDS! Give him a couple more games before you decide, although I'd choose keeping Tek if it HAD to come down to one of the 2... Hopefully it won't come down to that. I see him finding his way soon- especially when Nomar and Trot return.
  3. I watched game one against the Guardians and the strike zone was ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!
  4. Last year we had the best offense, with the batting champ included. This year our pitching is Number ONE. Any thoughts to this big turnaround? And it's influence on what's to come? Thanks!
  5. I'd probably be fired for jamming a broken bottle in their face. When I decide to retire that will be my last move!!!! Thanks for all the tips boys and girls, and by the way....I got the tired and old "SPRING FORWARD FALL BACK sh#t again tonight. Maybe Jimmy Buffett @ Fenway will bring POSITIVE ENERGY to the end of the season--- I'm not gonna miss him!
  6. It was PAINFUL to watch him yesterday. If he stuck around to face the Yanks later in the season I'd need to be blindfolded to watch it. On a lighter note, just got Jimmy Buffett tickets to see him at FENWAY!!! It will be my first concert experience there, can't wait! I think Arroyo will be fine- Nomar and Trot- Hurry home boys, we miss you terribly!
  7. How about those 2 homers??? Good job buddy, keep up the confidence!
  8. the history so far is that the sox win early, lose in the late summer, yada yada. maybe we shoud hope for a late season comeback? I hope I don't jinx........ I don't know what to say darnit!!!!
  9. I won't be worried until we get our REAL line-up together and still continue to lose...
  10. I know it's early but the AL central and the AL West have better records than the AL EAST.. Do the SOX HAVE TO WIN THE DIVISION to ensure a playoff spot?
  11. Sorry thought you asked about the yanks...I read too fast the Sox have 10 You have no idea what kind of SOX NAZI raised me... HAHA
  12. I knew it was 39 and shoved it in his face. he is 15 years younger than me and thank god we won tonight. hopefully I can show up tomorrow with a Y loss tonight.
  13. I meant 2001!!!! OOPS
  14. I guess I'm a little older than you, but I'd say 1. Ted Williams 2. Carl Yaz 3. Jim Rice 4. Wakefield 5. Tek 6. Nomar 7. Carlton Fisk 8. Schilling- he's been my hero, well, since game 7, 2000
  15. This joker I work with came running up to me today and said that although the 2 teams are tied if the season were over the yanks would win the division due to the records at home. I then asked him how many pennants his yankee team had won. He said "26 BABY!!!!" I said, no you have actually won more than that, I asked about pennants. LEARN YOUR TEAMS STATS A-HOLE. He then proceded to tell me that the Yanks victory over the Sox in Game 7 last year WAS THE WORLD SERIES..... I then asked him that if the SOX had won Game 7 would the world series have gone to the SOX (in his opinion)... he laughed and said WHAT DO YOU THINK? I can't tolerate this ignorant Y fan behavior anymore, I think I'm moving to MASS.... [/i]
