    Aw, I HATE maddox. Its soooooo stupid. Everyone's obsessed with him!

    oooooo, I did miss it. I turned it on at 3-1, when were losing, and I just assumed. Damn, pizaaza broke Fisk's record of most homeruns by a catcher today. I was hoping Pudge could hang onto that one. Oh well, Fisk was still better!

    Wow. If they got Vizquel, that would be crazy! They'd be unbeataly unfair. I havent heard this. Probably just some crazy yankee fans saying "steiny will buy us everything we need". Thats how a lot of things get started.

    I dont think Pedro is more replaceable than Varitek. If anything, he's less replaceable in my mind. We have Shoppach coming up in the system, and although there might be a gap between him and Varitek if tek doesnt re-sign, we could make do with a poor catcher, most teams do. But Pedro is the best pitcher in the game, hands down. He's irreplaceable pretty much. None of the free agent pitchers are anywhere near his calibre. But if the sox got millwood and morris, and lost Pedro and Lowe, then I'd consider that addition. We pick up two good pitchers, and lose one great one and an ok one. But both of those players would carry big contracts, so nevermind. And D-train, eh, I don't know. I'm still undecided on him.

    Well, ddm, you started this thread. Maybe thats the change that the sox need to get their offense going! Kim vs D'amico should be no contest. I hope it isnt at least.

    Wow. I cant believe they didnt turn that. The sox caught a big one. Hopefully mr congeniality can get a hit now. We need a big one.

    Yea, the yankees were tanking like this, and now look how hot they've gotten. It's just a matter of time until things fall into place again. And thats good news Tek, we want trotman back asap

    Never. The Guardians have succesfully batted through. The 10th man of the inning is now batting. Dinardo is warming, and he's a decent reliever at least, so that should be the clot to the Red Sox's bleeding artery. Its so hard to watch. But only 4 men LOB so far for the sox!

    4-1 guys. Calm down, the game isnt lost yet. It sure is ugly, but it isnt over. Mueller is shaky now though, thats for sure.

    It's pathetic though that we got the run on a double play. Its kind of representative of the entire sox offense this year. The only way we can score a run is by hitting into a double play. Wow.

    But the concern is that he was supposed to have fixed the kink in his batting approach that led to 10 homeruns in the first half. After he fixed that thanks to Papa Jack, he went on a tear. It's curious that this didn't carry over to this year. It looks like Lowe has settled down a little bit now.

    Mueller I can see as being a one year wonder, but I know he isnt. Ortiz isn't dooing poorly at all this year either. He's battin .284 with 5 homeruns. In fact, he leads the team. He got the team's only RBI last night. Ortiz is one player I'm not worried about. You know he'll snap out of it in a big way.

    Which movie? That makes all the difference dontchaknow. Hopefully its a good movie, where the main character makes a miraculous comeback.

    The sox lead by one run in the top of the 1st on may 1st at Texas. I'm pretty sure that was our last lead. That's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

    DAMN! Two runs already in the first, only one out! This is PATHETIC. Our O better take this game to break out of thei craptacularly fantastic slump. Wow. Our momentum couldn't be any lower now, it'll be a tough crawl to get back up to speed.
