  1. well, practice makes perfect.
  2. (its spelled youkilis man)
  3. Bronson certainly impressed today, as did the entire team (especially youki).
  4. What inning is it?
  5. They won't hold on. The teams playing the yankees always manage to blow it. But I wouldn't say this one is in the bag yet, no matter how weakly the jays are playing. It isn't in the bag until the 27th out is made.
  6. That's really really impressive. In his first at bat he showed a lot of power despite popping up, and now he goes and kills one. If he can't make an immediate impact this year he sure will in years to come. Dare I say, he'll be the cornerstone of the team.
  7. Called up and he hits one out! Amazing indeed. He's impressing me, he looks like he'll have a lot of power.
  8. In 3 years time, look back at this post and shoot yourself.
  9. He won't make an impact until about 2 years from now. If he stays up at the major league level (he won't when trot and nomar are back, if they ever are), he'll only see time as a backup and as a "give people rest" type of player. The roster is only 25 men, he can't stay on unless someone else goes down. I see Crespo and him being the odd men out.
  10. This is probably, so far, the most shoddily played game of the entire year from both sides. The whole series has been terrible. Crespo just dropped that fly ball, luckily they didnt score because of it. And the Blue Jays are even more pathetic. Orlando Hudson had a terrible throw, and balls got through that shouldn't have. It's a painful game to watch.
  11. First of all, welcome to the site. Glad you found us. And ignore redsox24, . Todd Walker was great! He wasn't THAT bad defesively, and we would not have made it half as far into the playoffs as we did without him. I liked him too. But I don't like him more than some others though.
  12. Barely watched any of it, but I'm glad we won. Lowe looked shaky after a few innings though.
  13. 2 runs, I'll take it I guess.
  14. Damn, we better capitalize on this 2 in sp, one out thing. That balk helped us a lot.
  15. be sure to come back with a full report of the movie! I'm deciding whether or not to see it myself.
  16. yea its being moved
  17. Ok, we got lucky and managed to get a run. That spot on throw by the catcher was just dropped.
  18. Looks like it'll be another long one. Schilling isnt looking great.
  19. Kim'll be back, I can almost guarantee it. As for Buffet, thats awesome Jarjar. He's the man, and concerts at Fenway are so damn cool!
  20. Not a great game, but oh well. These things happen I guess.
  21. Woohoo! Red Sox update, not so good. 4-1
  22. Ahahah! Captures the essence of the fans of both theams. Great stuff, good find.
  23. With the free agent market the way it is, and contract disputes and greedy agents.. there's absolutely no way the team can be predicted 5 years from now.
  24. We've always had great pitching. Remember last year? We had 3 of the top 4 of the AL ERA leaders: Pedro, Lowe, and Wake. We've consistently had the lowest team ERA in the AL too. The pitching isn't new. Maybe the bullpen dominance is new, but the starters have always produced.
