I’ve been building a baseball stats site and would love feedback from people who care about this stuff.

It’s meant to be a baseball stats rabbit-hole for comparing players, teams, eras, and matchups.

If you check it out, I’d love to hear what’s confusing, what’s useful, what’s missing, or what would make you come back.

Looks pretty nice once you dig into some of the stats, I like the sliders. I don't use baseball stat sites too often so I'm probably not the best demographic to review this. However to improve on something already so widely used such as Baseball Reference (or offer an alternative to them) you probably need to incorporate something they don't have. Would be cool if you could ask a question on the site (ex: what is Wilyer Abreu's slash line since May 20th?) and it would look up the answer using all of the underlying data.

That makes a lot of sense, and and I think you’re right. Baseball Reference already does the historical record side incredibly well, so my goal is not to out-Baseball Reference.

The direction I’m interested in is making it easier to ask specific baseball questions without having to know exactly which page/filter/table gets you there. Something like “What is Wilyer Abreu’s slash line since May 20?” or “Who has the most HR for the Red Sox since 2000?” and then have the site use the data underneath to answer it.

That’s probably a bigger next step, but it’s definitely the kind of thing I’d like Statline to grow into.   I'll look into that today.  I Appreciate you checking it out.
