That makes a lot of sense, and and I think you’re right. Baseball Reference already does the historical record side incredibly well, so my goal is not to out-Baseball Reference. The direction I’m interested in is making it easier to ask specific baseball questions without having to know exactly which page/filter/table gets you there. Something like “What is Wilyer Abreu’s slash line since May 20?” or “Who has the most HR for the Red Sox since 2000?” and then have the site use the data underneath to answer it. That’s probably a bigger next step, but it’s definitely the kind of thing I’d like Statline to grow into. I'll look into that today. I Appreciate you checking it out.
