Btw, Crawford was the perfect example of a player who could thrive in a low pressure market, but was intimidated in a big market.

The Rays market is the lowest of the low.  Boy was he a bust.

Damn Max, Buehler is making 20 mil.

Too true.  But that money's spent even if his arm falls off.  So for now he's ours and I'd like a 5th starter who can pitch a quality start now and then.

Hopefully the Sox can find one.

By the end of it the FLOPS will be clearly out of the postseason race.
BOOOLER just coughed up a 2R HR. Game almost over.

Boooler needs to pack his bags

Hmmm....

Very satisfying win.

Mayer and Rafaela with bigs hits. That pitch Rafaela hit was a nice pitch, but the guy is in a groove.

The pen looked sweet.

The rays just traded for baker and he gets burned!!!!  Ouch!!!!!

those two rookies are amazing. Clutch RBI’s and some more confidence for them!!!

great win!!!  So glad we did not get beuhlered

Your favorite player won the game tonight. Must give you a tingly feeling.

It was no fat pitch, either.

I think he will settle down to where he belongs.

I’d love for him to prove me wrong.

Nope. It was outside and he went out and got it.

Small crowd, just over 31K.  A shame because this was a terrific game.

Remember all those earlier 1 run losses? Maybe this team has changed.  It's just one game, but it's the right game.

Next up, Rasmussen and his 2.82 ERA vs Dobbins and his 4.10.  Yoshida might be in the lineup.

12 terrific, tough games ahead and we ain't even in August yet.

He hits a lot of non fat pitches for hits.

Why are you so sure he belongs much lower?

Besides, his career OPS is .700- just 15 points from the 2025 league average, and he's young and showing improvement in his approach, despite still having some major issues.

And he swings and misses at many more. Thats the problem.Do you expect him to keep this up? Wouldn’t that make us so much better. Or is he likely to regress to his career OPS of 94.
I’ve been critical of Rafaela but I think I’m just going to enjoy his moment in the sun-until it passes

You think they should keep Booler in the rotation? If not what should they do with him?

The flops are actually pretty deep with SPers. The don’t need Booler.
