The offence definitely needs strengthening as well.

We are AT LEAST two years away from being competitive. Way too many holes to fill and way too much of a Broom mess to clean up. Next year will be another hold your nose year.

Having runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs in two straight innings and not scoring is a very difficult thing to do. It takes a very special team to accomplish that.
