Good to see the Mariners selling off before our series, but they are not an easy team to beat.

We have a great chance at gaining on our competition, if we just win.

TBR plays NYY

TOR plays BAL

(HOU plays CLE)

Big game, tonight!

GO SOX!

Today the Mariners sold off their expendables, not their core.

Should be a good series.

For the second straight year this poster will be treated to a Kutter Crawford start at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The righthander did fine last year:

Paul Sewald, who was traded today, surrendered a two-run homer to Rafael Devers for the game's only runs.

Devers has to be a more constant threat in this lineup. Glad to see the base hit there.

They keep stranding runners. Can’t get the big hit.

Can’t fault Pivetta tonight, he was exactly what the Sox needed. Great start, made two mistakes but you’ll take 7 innings of 2 run ball every game.

Moroners' announcer just said the SOX offense came into this series red hot. Dumb ass.

I guess, if you count the last 4 weeks, not 3 days.

Verdugo has been awful this month

True, but he’s come out of it somewhat the last few games. That DP ball he hit last time up was smoked and took a bad hop to boot. M’s 2B made a hell of a play.

Some signs of life after a putrid 4 weeks.

Maybe Cora needs to rest him.

He's third on the team in GS and PAs, and Turner is in front of him as a primary DH.

I'm counting the last 3 days and now you can add this one. Anytime the SOX come back home with a winning record on the west coast thousands of fans should greet them at Logan.

Didn’t he just sit out 2-3 games in a row last week?

Verdugo was at .900 on May 9th (158 PAs)

He's hit .686 in his last 254 PAs, not counting tonight.

.457 in his last 90 PAs (since June 28th.(

Yes, on bereavement leave, and the AS break not too long ago, too.

I wonder if the death in his family hit him hard.
