Paxton vs Walker(RH)

Giants going with BP opener tonight. SOX have played damn good ball in July, so just keep it rolling.

Tonight's game, sadly, is on FOX. Because the SOX/Giants game is one of the 3 games covered by FOX tonight, it won't be televised in my area. I'll be receiving the O's/Yankems game. I hate FOX.

Go SOX!

Yoshida out, Arroyo in. Weaker lineup than last night, but Casas is moved up to #4.

Fun Fact:

The SOX are 12-1 against the Jays and Yankems so far this season. This also means the SOX are 44-46 against everyone else.

The Jays are 7-20 in the AL East.

The SOX are 16-11 in the AL East.

I'm getting the Fox feed on mlb.com, but can't get it on cable, which has the Yankees @ Baltimore.

4-10 vs TBR & BAL

52-37 vs everyone else.

The real killer is...

0-9 vs PIT, STL, MIA

and

2-10 vs PIT, STL, COL, CWS

SOX in a fog so far. Casas, who has been playing GREAT, let 2 fastballs down the middle go and then struck out on a slider out of the zone. Paxton not sharp to start the game. But, the Sox have been playing well and there is a lot of game left. Let's Go!

Let's hope the pitching is on tonight, because the SOX aren't very offensive on the west coast.

Can’t depend on your pitcher everytime though.

Why do these FOX morons continue talking about trading Paxton? They're in a PO hunt and already strapped for dependable starting pitching.

The fact is the SOX need to trade for a starting pitcher.

Yet they don’t say that about the Yankees lol. Go figure.

Sox have to determine if they think they have a team that can win a playoff series IF they make it. Paxton is a FA after the season. With Sale and Whitlock coming back, and if they can land another starter, they may be tempted to trade Paxton if they could get a good package of players or one very good player for him. It may be the smart move to make but it won't be popular. I would be ok with it if they get a really good player.

Has anyone noticed how well Braiser and Diekmann are pitching. Supposedly Braiser is now reborn after learning and being told by the Dodgers to throw a cutter. No one on Sox staff ever suggested a cutter????
