I watched a youtube video earlier regarding the career of Dwight Evans. I believe most here know that he led MLB in HR's during the decade of the 80's. What I didn't know was he also led MLB in extra base hits during that same period. 385 HR's and 2500 hits along with 8 Gold Gloves. Seems like HOF numbers to me, but then I didn't get to vote.

Yu Chang is back @SS, so there that. Kike to 2B despite some argument that Arroyo is actually a better offensive threat based on the numbers. Yoshi getting a night off.

Another question is why Duvall in CF and Duran in LF ? I would think Duran's speed is best used in CF. I worry about Duran finding the garage door in the sidewall a la Swihart a few years ago

Bernandino running on fumes after 1 inning, 2 K's and 11 pitches . Can he possibly come out and gut out the 2nd ? Keep him in, AC

A's going with BP game after earlier posting Medina would start.

Are lineups locked in before being presented to umpires ? Looks like Kotsay said, if you have a LH lineup, I have LH opener hiding right over here. Maybe Medina follows.

Mr 3-2, Walk is on again. Casas' OBP should be about.500

40 walks for a .329 OBP ? Leads team in K's at 75; 53 hits

The SOX posted their line-up later than usual, so I'm guessing Cora was aware of the pitching change.

I'm pretty sure they're not locked in before handing it to the chUMP.

Two nights in a row the Sox score at least 5 runs with no XBH and the inning ends with Duvall striking out…

Thunder only has a chance at a ball up in the Monster if Ort comes in later, maybe Garza too.

Oakland A's baseball was once referred to as Money Ball. I doubt they have a name for this s***.

Duvall not so sharp right now with the pitch recognition. He and Wong are chasing the only pitch Medina has .

I can’t even imagine how demoralizing it must be to play for the As. Their stadium sucks. No one shows up to see the games. And they are getting out of town anyway.

And they suck.
