Josh Donaldson getting 23 mil is a f'ing joke. Almost as bad as JD getting 22 mil.

JDM K'ed chasing as always but only accounted for 1 out. Donaldson burned himself and the runner, so much worse. $45 million worth of duds this year

But at least NY JD has played good defense. Boston JD only plays DH at this point right?

Actually, this year JD only plays DB(Designated Batter). The word 'hitter' is abused too much around here.

His numbers are definitely down from his career norm, but he's still putting up a .771 OPS. Doesn't seem like a complete waste.

Btw, Plawecki was picked up by the Texas Rangers.

I guess he wants an invite to ST somewhere next year, so he'll hang out for a couple weeks around Arlington, TX

"SOX normally score with leadoff doubles and no outs" so say Smoltz. Obviously, he did a lot of research before the game.

They have been extremely consistent with that situation all year. They don't even advance the runner on a productive out, forgetting the old 13 ways to score from 3B

Smoltz. Another guy who stole millions from the SOX.

Let's consider a 2023 contract for FA Wacha before anyone notices how he has pitched, when not IL'ed. They guy is 11-1, 2.54 ERA ( not great stats for evaluating real value), but on a team that will finish below .500 , Wacha's record glows like no other in the clubhouse

The guy who returned Judge's 60th HR received an autographed ball and bat and a couple of years of season tickets. If he had held out, he probably could have gotten $100,000.00, which is couch change for the Yankem organization.

Should be an entertaining scrum for his 61st and 62nd HR balls (assuming he hits them). Especially if they end up in the bleachers with all of those animals.

Re-signing Wacha is a priority. His record 'glows' so much compared to his fellow staters that it could cause blindness.

Sox have scored 1 run in last 14 innings now. They are beyond uninteresting. The game in Cincinnati last night while not memorable may have been the least effort of the year.

The SOX have had a lot of double digit runs this season and a whole lot of 3 runs or less. They don't seem to score much when Wacha's pitching or his record would be even better.

Much of the SOX positive offensive numbers were acquired in the month of June. What a month that was.

And don't forget 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2018. Plus the 5 last place AL East finishes in that era.

If Higishioka can make a simple out, then Judge can deliver the Slam. Except Wacha could laugh and issue an intentional walk for just 1 run

Why walk him when he K's just like JDM and Bogey, waving his wand as if it had no power left. Judge is washed up and done after that AB. No one will sign him, especially not the Sox
