Doesn't it seem like Lowrie was around during Dan Duquette's era?

(I know he wasn't, but it feels like forever!)

With a Red Sox win Friday the AL East will have a commanding 45-25 record this year in head-to-head competition against the AL West.:(

And you doubted the dominance... or not!

I believe Cora's best available option is to just platoon Bobby Dee and Franchy Cee at 1st base.

I'd play Franchise in the OF, when not at 1B.

The ALE has 3 of the top 4 records in the AL.

The ALE has 4 of the top 7 teams in wins in the AL.

I'd keep JBJ in RF, because Franchy against LH starters is no improvement over JBJ offensively. Plus the defense is better with JBJ in the OF. So I'm gonna stick with platooning Franchy and Bobby at 1st.

Is that the first time he's been called that? If so kudos. And I'm using it.

Yes, there are cool and unsafe areas in both cities.

It always strikes me how close places like the South End and Northeastern are to places like Roxbury.

Even where I live in Quincy has changed. About 5-10 years ago, my block was dangerous

As far as I know, yes. I was thinking of putting a "the" in front of it, but I don't want to add more pressure on our next mega star.

Sox beat writer , Pete Abraham was robbed on the way to his hotel. Smashed the window of his car and stole all his stuff.

Was this in Oakland? We stayed within walking distance to the coliseum so that we could be close to the airport. My dad and I went to a game there but my mom didn't really want us going anywhere else. Not a great neighborhood
