Again, stating "it starts now" is not a prediction, it's a statement. But, I get it, you will defend your buddy till the end.

Of course it's a prediction. How can you make a factual statement about something that hasn't happened yet?

moon is just getting back at jackson for his statement that pitching doesn't slump.

As I said, he was trolling jackson.

And why are you getting all sensitive about some trash talking between a Red Sox fan and a Yankee fan, exactly?

I'm certainly not, just thought I would point it out. Plus, I like jackson getting trolled.

Context is lost on the feeble minded.

Apparently, in the Bronx, there is only one way. I have to bet him, or it proves I'm a troll.

The silliness never ends with some of these guys.

No, the silliness is your continual denial that you were trolling when it was pretty obvious.

I'd say, if you really have to fill a need to identify trolling, the real trolling (slight as it was) was jacko saying pitching doesn't slump.

I replied is a way you clearly don't get. Quit while you are behind.

Do yourself a favor.

Hardly behind, you were trolling him, plain and simple. Your denial doesn't change that.

Cole was dominant. Holmes was human although an infield hit after a ground ball double isnt exactly getting shellacked. But the O comes through and drives home two. Need to close this out

I was wrong, you weren't trolling, you were clairvoyant, The pitching slump did start right then, just as you called it. Cole only had a no-hitter into the 8th and Clay gave up his first run since the beginning of April. I tip my hat to you.

That was the first earned run yielded by Holmes since Opening Day.

The broadcast said April 8th, he let up 1 run in 2/3's of an inning.

Yes, April 8th was opening day.

Do try to keep up.

We have been the Sox best friend this season. Yes, we beat them 2 of 3 to start the year, but we’ve won 4 straight vs the Rays and 2 of 3 from the Jays. The Sox have been jumped by the Guardians and now the Rays are the first team out with the Sox in the 3rd WC spot. After the next two games, it’s up to the Sox. Grueling 6 weeks for the Sox starts Friday

The only possible weakness the Yanks might have is the bullpen, because of the loss of Green and the uncertain status of Chapman.

Cash will probably acquire another reliever or two at the deadline.

Well excuse me for not looking up the date of Opening Day.

But please, tell us more about how the Yankees' pitching slump started..........

Yeah, the Yank's relievers only have the most saves in the AL with the 3rd best ERA in the AL. I hope they are that weak all season.......

He said "possible weakness" and clearly spoke to the future, this time, due to the loss of Green and uncertainty with Chapman.

Again, please try to keep up.

The bullpen slump is underway.

They've blown saves the last two games in a row.

...and blown saves and pen ERA are his chosen rubrics.

Pen ERs in last two games

1.2 IP 1 ER

3.0 IP 3 ER

Total: 4 ERs in 4.2 IP

7.71 ERA

It's more like a grueling 6 weeks minus July 4th weekend.

Interesting that Peralta was credited with the victory last night instead of Holmes. I can’t recall seeing that in the past in such a situation. Normally, Holmes would get the Blown save and the win and Peralta would have gotten the save. I understand that there is official scorer’s discretion, and I have seen scorer's discretion where a starting pitcher left the game with the lead and less than 6 innings pitched, but I can’t recall seeing it in this situation.

Green has been out for quite some time and Chapman was pretty uncertain leading up to his IL stint and the bullpen has still performed pretty well.

Please try to keep up.

That's rich coming from the one who continuously claims "small sample size"........

Wow, did I miss a memo or something? Is this beat up on moon day? Why are you guys so hostile and condescending to each other?

No, just firing a few shots back after his weak trolling attempt.
