Well, what if they only go 3-3 in these games? I'm not sure I'd call that a total meltdown, but it could put them in jeopardy.

 

Jays take 2 of 3 from Yankees and go 5-1 overall. That would pass us. 4-2 would tie.

Yankees take 1 from Jays and 2 from Rays. They would stay ahead of us.

 

Even 3-3 makes us maybe 50-50, but I guess I see that as close to a total meltdown when you look at who we are playing and we can’t go 4-2.

No MLB baseball game is a given. No series, for that matter.

 

To me, going 2-4 or 3-3 in the next 6 games can be viewed as a meltdown.

Nobody cares what a player's dumb wife says. MLB players are dumb enough as it is. We don't need to go to further into their family to get bad takes.
