No, it absolutely is not. Pivetta was hitting his spots and mixing up his pitches. The walk cost nothing, but those 3 doubles cost two runs and at least two of them were off good pitches that still got hit. I missed the 3d double because my screen went blank.

You want bad, I'll give you bad. Bogie just struck out on a 2-2 count and on the 3d straight pitch low and well outside the strike zone. Now that's bad and stupid.

The third dbl was on the inside edge of the plate about halfway up the zone. I'm not sure, if that was intended of if that is a place you want to avoid with Grichuck.

Terrible at bat by Devers. He was guessing slider or curve or something and just sat on a fastball near the middle of the zone. But boy does he love to swing at pitches way outside the zone, and sometimes he hits them.
