I’d have started Chavis at 2B and Marwin in LF.

Cordero needs to benched until someone has enough play in AAA to be ready for a call up.

Santana seems like the choice, but he may not be ready by the time kike and arroyo come off the IL.

The Sox lose Santana, soon, if they don’t call him up.

Agreed with this. Cordero is a massive bust. The game when he went 4 for 5, I finally thought he would get it going. No so much lol

I’ve not given up on Cordero, but I have for now. I’m certain he will be demoted when Kike or Arroyo come off the IL, and if he does well at AAA, we may see him again.

I like pitching around Trout there. As we can see, we got out of the inning, but Marty needs to throw more strikes

OK, now that's showing off. Renfroe makes a nice grab and on the dead run, just to show he can, rifles a near perfect throw to 3b in case the Angels baserunner had any thought--which he did not--of going from 2b to 3b.

A walk, a single, and 3 quick outs. The Angels have to be discouraged. Forgot the 2d walk to Trout, which was I thought a good idea.

Especially when they average 1.86 runs in support of Bundy, the lowest in the league for any SP

Now, I see why Renfroe is in RF.

OK, now I see what the problem is. Perez has been using a changeup and pretty effectively too. This must stop. This year's Sox staff does not use the changeup--except for ERod when he wants to give up some hits. A quiet word in the dugout should suffice.

That was a great throw, and he had another the other night from RF to home with men on 1st and 3d. He hit the cutoff man perfectly, so neither budged. I think that was the same game in which he also hit the cut off man perfectly, after which a great relay throw by Arauz caught the runner going home.

I think I know what Cordero's problem is. He's telegraphing his swing, so opposing pitchers and catchers know exactly where to throw the ball. Easy fix. Just look at the videos.

Perez has plenty of swing and miss stuff... He just has to throw strikes to make them swing

I swear there have been games this year when the visiting outfield looks more comfortable dealing with the idiosyncracies of Fenway then our guys do. Not today, but other games.

Ohtani certainly looks comfortable hitting here, but I can't comment on your other statement since I can't watch games

Trout is the one walk in the world I'm ok with. 3-2 pitch could have been a strike under a different ump

Perez needs to stop with the walks. It’s gonna come back to bite him.

I agree, but like I said, walking Trout with 2 outs and nobody on is not the worst thing in the world. He's capable of tying it up in a heartbeat. He threw him a good pitch on 3-2. Just didn't get the call
