It appears that the Red Sox are trying their best not to wear out any of the game thread starters.

Somebody commented in previous game threads about Vazquez not being able to advance a runner on 2nd base with no outs. He keeps hitting grounders to the left side. He did that again twice last night, with Verdugo on 2nd and no outs. Frustrating.

 

In one of those instances, Verdugo did advance with some aggressive base running, but that was on Verdugo, not Vazquez.

Alright that actually doesn't sound that bad. I have a rule that if I'm going to indulge in that stuff, I need a high ratio of chocolate per volume. Just like some people need a certain alcohol per volume.
