Twins are looking as cooked as the steak I like.

Very very well done.

Bad analogy. They’re toast.

Anyone who likes their steak burned is a sociopath who deserves ostracism from society.

Good, I thought I was gonna have to track you down and revoke your man card. Or woman card. Just all the cards. Never eat well done steak, ever. Ever.

Stanton has looked different today and since he got back. Not jumpy, sitting back, taking what they give him. 3 walks today. If he can wait for his pitch, he will do damage this postseason. His issue is he gets himself out

Twins are gonna need to hope Tanaka is off. The Twins are a pest at their place. The only chance they have is to try and close it out in 4.

I just can’t see it. After this the Twins will be 2-6? This year against New York. I think it’s in their head now that they can’t beat the Yanks. I will honestly be amazed if Minnesota doesn’t get swept.

Just put my son to sleep. He was not happy. He’s obsessed with the Yankees. Makes me sick lol. He’s 5 months old but he’s obsessed with their jerseys. Babies see black and whit so clear. He just zoned out on their jerseys.

He’s the smartest one in your house!

This was a good win. Paxton wasn’t at his best, but he was effective. With our pen the way it is, I wonder if Boone should be considering every inning beyond the 4th as potential pen time. Paxton dominated all but two batters in the game and I’d ensure he doesn’t face Polanco or Cruz for the third time unless the game is not within reach if this thing goes to a game 5. Using Ottavino for one batter was puzzling, especially since we ran out of our usual bridge come the 8th. But seeing Happ chucking 95 and looking dominant was strange. Yes, he walked a guy and allowed a hit, but the hit wasn’t struck hard and the two K’s didn’t have a chance. Maybe we have something here. Either way, 4.1IP of relief and the only run scored was a can of corn flyball that was only a HR in YS. Maybe 6 inches over Judge’s glove. So be it. Our hitters looked like they were really comfortable sans Sanchez and Didi. The other 7 took tons of pitches, didn’t chase and got good swings on their strikes. Really good game for us. The Twins looked scared. Let’s take another today

I like my steak well done. I can tolerate just a touch of pink in it, but I prefer none.

As I said in the other thread, the Twins don't stand a chance. It doesn't matter how good they are, they fold when they play the Yankees.

Can’t see the twins picking up a single win. That was as dominant a win as you get in the playoffs. Yanks and Astros I think

Agreed Kimmi, twins are done.

SO the Twins are throwing a 24 yr old rookie who was in a 4 league independent league last year? He's had a good 6 starts, so they're throwing him in game 2 in Yankee stadium in a game they kinda have to win? Seriously? Baldelli may get the MOY award and maybe this kid has been good in September (when everyone else is throwing in the towel), but this isn't a hyped prospect. This isn't a guy who has nasty stuff. This is a command guy with low velo who doesn't strike guys out and is going against one of the best lineups in the league on their turf. One of the reasons why the Twins have lost to the Yanks so many times is the managing. Gardenhire tried getting cute, thinking he would outsmart the Yanks. And he didn't. And he lost. This is one of those cute moves. This looks like a disaster waiting to happen for the Twins. I'll take it.
