Acknowledgement from Franco that he cannot see that Change taking ball 3. You will not convince me Franco saw that one any better than he saw the next one.

I wonder when was the last time a pitcher batted with 2 outs and the bases loaded and wasn't pitching a no-hitter in a 1-0 game in the 7th inning? Moon, any answer to that one?

Yeah that dodgy decision blew up in Cora’s face

I want to apologize to John Farrell. John, you're a better manager than WTF.

Well to your point, its not like Beni was the only option on that bench. Holt has not been in this game yet unless I missed him. That would have been a left hand bat and all we really needed was a base hit.

Even a sac fly though Holt would likely have gotten a base hit before getting a sac fly.

Maybe Bumgarner?

An AL pitcher? It might go back to a guy like Sonny Siebert.

I guess the question is do you trust ERod or the pen (for 3 innings)? Not an easy choice given overall results this year.

Not batting for Gorkys was the bigger mistake IMO. Then again, once Corkys failed, you could make the case that regardless of anything else, Cora HAD to PH for ERod.

I guess every stupid move Cora makes can be rationalized if one is inclined to defend him.

Yes but for WTF

Like I posted earlier, I hope JH saw that top of the 7th. I'm pretty sure he'll store that in his memory bank when a decision has to be made.

IMO the decision has been made for this year. You don't tell the team that Cora is coming back and then find some rational within the last 20 games of the year to change that decision. The result of that would be a WTF Henry and a baseball team that just does not know what to think next.

I'm sure WTF will be back in 2020; whether he's still there by the end of the season is the decision that will have to be made.

I’d be a lot more impressed with your amazing analysis of moves if you relayed them at the time they are made rather than after the results are known.

I’m not talking about just this one, which is a head scratcher.

If I thought I was dumber than Cora, I'd kill myself.
