Saw the B-52's tonight (with Berlin and OMD). Great show, but I had to watch tonight's game by fast forwarding some of it. I rarely do that.

When a player like Machado is overvalued at $300 million, how do the Angels not have to give Trout over $400 million? Machado's ridiculous salary also justifies Betts asking for $300 million.

This is why I don't like OPS, he is a .225 Hitter with 2 outs and RISP. That say contact, not what kind of contact. Everybody wants to hit a HR.

Another thing that is concerning is JBJ has 92 K's in 283 at bats. 1 out of 3 a K, no stat should be good, or justified.

It’s definitely horrible timing but I will hold off judgement for now. He said he was in a really dark spot. If these injuries are messing with his head and maybe he’s thinking of suicide or something then he made the right decision. This obviously was not an easy decision for him. And at first I was pissed off by this too but after hearing his comments, he is clearly going through something. His mental and physical health cones before football. It sucks but it is what it is.

I liked the strategy of pitching around Machado . Hosmer is a pretty good hitter , but you can't let Machado beat you . It worked to perfection twice late in the game . Smart move .
