In today's baseball this game could be described as a pitching duel.

Have you seen the Sox swings tonight. They have helped the pitcher as well.

More like going to the dentist with E-Rod pitching. Which is more enjoyable?

Neither pitcher has been that good because neither one thinks he has to throw a strike. Why should they. That is one of the things so frustrating about this brand of baseball. The pitchers don't pitch and the hitters don't hit. I don't care what the HR numbers say. The pitchers don't pitch and the hitters don't hit.

I don’t think we have gotten good swings either. I don’t think this guy is as great as you think he is.

When did I say he was great? Tonight he's pitching very well and good pitching beats good hitting. Fact of life.

Gutsy pitching by rodriguez. Just made one mistake. I was gonna put this game on him but idk if i can do that. This offense has been terrible.

Good pitching can make good hitters look silly.

Naw. Some Sox batters have looked clueless and in a rush in the batters box.

I would not call this a pitching dual and I love pitching duals. I would call this insanity.....a futility dual.

JBJ is back to tilting his head and losing the ball before it gets to the plate. Maybe he AND Manfred are both looking at the ball girls when they bend over.
