Utterly ridiculous. Not "shocking" at all Eck. Here Price is facing a fleet of hitters just dying to swing...swinging from the dugout and he STILL can't get through 5 innings.

What a f***ing struggle to get these guys out.

It’s simple. Tampa, loves that cut fastball and the 4 sea,er just as much as Price does. He has actually been lucky tonight.

Here's an idea for a new boy band---Price and the Porcellos

At least Porcello went 6 innings and gave up 3 runs against one of the best offenses in the league. Price gave up the same amount and didn’t even get out of the 5th against the 17th ranked offense. Price has been brutal lately.

His curve ball worked. Why didn’t he do that more?

What in the world will the Sox do with Price and Sale for another 3 or 4 years ? Those will become dead money contracts also. You might be able to move Sale's since it's not outrageous money.

The only thing shocking is how piss poor our rotation is. There are worse rotations for sure. But to have an asset that was supposed to be superior be even less than ordinary is hard to take.

The batter and Walden look like twins.

Sogard's first AB as a Ray and he does what he does....makes contact.

Sale and now Price. We have thel rely on these guys for years to come. The early season easy start hasn't helped and it is still July

Price had thrown a bit harder than usual tonight and by about 80 pitches that FB had flattened out and was quite hittable. So was his cutter and I have no idea where he hid his Change tonight. I guess he decided this would be his POWER game for about 4 innings and 93 pitches.....ridiculous.

What's the plural of albatross?

I really had myself convinced that Price was about two years down the road in transition from where Sale was going. Now I am not so sure. Price seemed to pull this particular approach tonight out of his ******* and it should have stayed crammed up there.

Cash for his part has gone batshit crazy this year.
