Until this inning, I was starting to think the Rays won that deal. Beeks has had good numbers this year. Other than Eovaldi in the WS, he hasn't done much for us
Don't you think Eovaldi's contributions in the playoffs last year are enough to win the trade! He won game 3 against the Yankees and the Astros. 22.1 innings, 1.61 ERA. He pitched great. The Sox don't win the World Series without him.!!!! That trade has been won already. Beeks is a ham and egger. Edited by Tedballgame

Can anyone here think of a 3rd base/SS combo on one team ever that are putting up the numbers Devers and X-man are putting up so far this year.?

Idk off the top of my head what the numbers are. But in recent memory, Reyes/Wright, Jeter/Arod, and last years Lindor/Ramirez were all really really good

Arenado/Story. Bryant/Baez. Correa/Bregman. All pretty good. Bogie and Devers are great this year for sure.

Hanley Ramirez/Miguel Cabrera with Miami had a good year.

Seems like the Guardians don’t lose games. They’re consistent something our team is not. They likely will nab that top wildcard. As and sox battle for the second wildcard.

E Rod looks unreal lately. A new pitcher.

With E-rod it was always a mental issue. Afraid to pitch to contact. He appears now to have his head on straight. It's either that or Devers took him to the same crossroad to make a deal with a certain entity.

Agreed!! Hopefully he has over come that.

I don't think it's gonna be long from now before Devers becomes the new face of the SOX.

I think he’s already there. Even his outs are loud. He usually makes great contact whether it’s an out or a hit. He looks special at the plate this year.

It might be premature to call E-rod an ACE, but he's definitely a face card.

I've watched a ton of baseball over the years, but I've never seen an individual story like Devers. As recently as the end of April he was a below average defensive 3rd baseman and an average hitter. His drastic improvement in both facets of the game beginning in May is something one sees in the movies, not usually in real life.
