F me. It's not the tell all but an indicator---Darwinzon has used 18 pitches to get 1 out, issued a walk, throwing in the dirt a lot. The pitching is almost unsolvable at this point.

You aren’t going to get one for just Beni and it’s obvious DD has been instructed to stay under the salary cap level; that makes it very difficult to do.

Personally, I like having Hernandez up with the big club. He could and should learn and improve. Ditto Taylor. Guys like Velazquez and Brasier are what they are and have reached their low ceilings.

Isn't it funny that when a lot of us speak about post WWII RED SOX, it's mainly about hitters and not pitchers. Has any team during that period of time had fewer great pitchers than the SOX?

Exactly. And once and a while games like this will happen where they don’t produce a ton of runs. Shame on us for thinking the pitching can win a game for once.

I agree, they may as well get acclimated in this next to nothing season, which still could surprise in terms of a WC game. There will be a pitching overhaul in the off season, and these cheap young guys are likely to have a role in 2020.

It's the offense also folks .Mookie,X ,Chavis ,Devers JD should be enough for any team but it's not enough with the pitching staff .We need to bludgeon teams and we barely scratch them .

Reminds me of the last game against the Dodgers. We create a lot of opportunities but no one can come up with the key hit. We are close to losing this one. Just one more chance to perform.
