I think Travis has his own personal bus to shuffle him back and forth to Pawtucket.

He looks like he drives one in the offseason to supplement his Pawtucket income

Cora doesn't give Holt the respect he's due. If Nunez was still here, he'd be batting.

Cora does some mind boggling decisions. Has all year. Yet the offense has produced regardless.

Pretty late to the game, but glad to see Cashner fits right in with our staff and team. As Cora says, consistently inconsistent. He also noted that it was mid-July (must have looked at his desk calendar) and that it was time to get it going.

Some nasty pitches from the Blue Jay lefty. Every one was on the edge of the strike zone. Travis never had anything really hittable.

That was a tough situation to put Travis in with his few at bats. That's on the manager.

Agreed, but it’s why he’s here right now. Holt is hitting sub-200 against lefties this year, although he’s had very few ABs.

Btw, are Moreland and Pearce still on life support?

Moreland apparently working out at Fenway last few days. Might DH at Pawtucket tomorrow. Pearce is MIA

Moreland is could be back this weekend or early next week. I think Pearce is in witness protection.

And Nunez is applying for asylum in Canada.

I'd package that guy up and send him out there's no room for a guy that size who can't hit for power or average guy sucks cut the cord .

I did look up Pearce. Apparently he did something to his knee at the beginning of the month during his rehab at Pawtucket. The article said he doesn’t need surgery, but he will be out for an extended period of time.

Translation - his time with Boston is done, and his career is hanging on life support.

Two innings in a row with runners in scoring position and less than two outs and nothing to show for it. Can't come away from these opportunities with nothing.
