This team is battling a lot of teams for that wildcard. It seems like every game will be a playoff game. Just to stay close.

And that was a good job by ERod. If a pitcher is going to dot both corners with change ups low like that, the hitter is likely meat to any sort of FB. Too bad Erod exhibits that sort of command so rarely.

Not with our Pen .Why do you think I'm so freaking angry ? We are screwed if we go to the pen .

I’m used to this s*** offense going to sleep when we have good pitching. It’s what they do. Beyond frustrating

Nice play Jackie. That pile of crap did not deserve to go off the Monster.

Erod tossed him a cookie and he missed it.

Well Rodriguez when from ******* in the first inning to gamer the rest of the way. Can’t say the same about this offense.

Is the Dodgers' offense brutal? Sometimes, I know it's corny, one has to tip one's cap to the pitcher. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Splinter he's been very hittable tonight this guy couldn't carry Tanakas water we should cave his head in by now .

They struggle on the road.

2 hits through 5 ? Good thing they were solo shots so we actually scored. Erod accomplished his job.Top 5 hitters, 1 for 10 through 5. There's your short fall in 2019.

If you were starting a new team, which one of these 3 players would you choose? Betts, Bellinger, or Devers?

Devers...no question....then Bellinger, then Mookie.

See that Slider to Mookie? That is why I would simply be looking to have my pitchers abandon that pitch if they can't throw them better than that. The Change is the pitch of note for this generation of pitchers. You don't really grip that pitch. The circle change puts the thumb and index finger in the shape of a circle behind the ball and almost nothing else really on the ball and the other change grip has the ball in the back of the hand (no circle) and again almost nothing else on the ball. The pitch is all arm speed and throwing it out of the same slot as the FB.
