He’s had a long solid career I think he’s worth it for sure. He is a strange pitcher. He can go into some nasty slumps but over all he’s been a solid pitcher. I would have had him on my team.

They almost have to play tonight. The alternatives suck. It's either a day-night doubleheader tomorrow or a traditional doubleheader tomorrow.

 

The 2 teams have only one common off day the rest of the year, August 26, and the Sox are in San Diego on the 25th and at Colorado on the 27th.

The Celtics are going nowhere unless they get someone to provide interior defense. Kantor isn't that guy; neither is Williams. Maybe one of the dumpster signings will work out, but last year they consistently got beaten inside-and they had Horford and Baynes last year.
