When Holt returns, I'd like to see him completely covered in bubble wrap.

They can roll him out to a position with one arm stuck out with a glove on it. He will STILL find his way back to the IL in short order.

Oh my God. Our BP is just hysterical. As soon as this clown comes in its Bang, Smash, Pow.

Its time for a cameo shot of DD in the team suite. I am ready for a look at thst dour long face of his "contemplating".

People, announcers, need to stop making excuses for this sad excuse for this country club club house...total effin BS

True true. This more of the Red Sox looking like a total joke than the blue jays. The effort from the start was not good.

I have a serious question regarding JD's contract with the SOX. The opt-out clause in the contract; is that one-sided? IOW, can the SOX FO also invoke the opt-out?

Glad you said that. Getting weary of hearing how this is the best hitter in MLB, most dedicated, works all day and night on it. Maybe he's off physically, maybe mentally but he used to rocket every ball all over the field, but this past month hasn't been great.

I will guess that the option is a one way deal in his favor.

This team has no bite. For the announcers to get all bitchy over stroman saying something is ridiculous. Do something about it on the scoreboard.

Looked it up on Cots and the 2019 and 2020 opt out options are exclusively JDM's. In 2021 and 2022 it is a mutual option depending on a potential Lisfranc or other right foot injury that leads to extensive IL time. Otherwise, you are paying him $23.75 million in '20 , then $19.375 in '21 &'22. He can reject trades to 3 teams annually.

It will be interesting to see if the Jays have to come with Giles today after having gone yesterday. He has pitched really well this year but has mostly done it with a cranky arm....supposedly all better now. I would be interested to see if he could go back to back and duplicate. We were hopeless against his heat yesterday.

Geez here I am doing NESN's job for it now. "STAY TUNED. THIS COULD GET INTERESTING"

I'm not a doctor, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out JD isn't 100%. I think he's playing with a back issue. I also believe it's a chronic situation that will haunt him the rest of his playing days. Obviously, this is just speculation on my part and I definitely hope I'm wrong.

Here's the interesting finding on Cot's, unless something has changed recently, Dombrowski's 5 year deal is over in 2019, otherwise known as this year. That could get interesting

Jung, tell us about the newest charity or Remy's book signing. Or what happened when Eck opened his hotel room door once when he was naked.
