Idk, I always thought split was best case. Starting Josh Smith is basically a forfeit game, and JD is hurt.

Agreed.. this team has to get to 5 game over .500 for now. Baby steps. Can’t make up five games in the division over night, especially when JD is out of the lineup with a bad back.

Seems like he gets a lot of complaints but I don’t really have a problem with him. I’ve always thought he was solid, even at ESPN. NESN does some dumb s*** but I don’t think he’s an issue.

 

OB suffers by comparison to our most recent past play by play guys. But he is really handicapped by Eck more than anything else. Eck cannot carry Jerry's microphone sock. Lately Eck sounds more like a drunk at a bar watching the game than he does an analyst.

JD is huge but Mookie is more valuable altogether. He’s a way better fielder and just as good a hitter. Plus he steals bases. Also he’s young.
