From 29yo career minor leaguer Ryan Weber to 26yo career minor leaguer Colten Brewer to 30yo career minor leaguer Marcus Walden. I’m noticing a trend here...

Except that, unlike the other 2, Walden has been helpful this year.

Yes. But how many guys like that do we want in a 7 man bullpen?

Thank you. I was afraid I'd overdone the sarcasm, but no. WTF Cora. WTF Cora. WTF Cora. Sox should be winning this game despite Weber's horrible start, but everything remains hopeless because of our dumb manager.

Chill; it's a baseball game for god's sake. You're not being evicted from your house.

Does Walden still suck? Checking for a friend...

I never said he sucked. I thought he hasbeen pretty solid all year...

Based on Walden's performance this year, I'd take 5

Be careful what you wish for. The Sox have 4 guys who fit the career minor leaguer mold, and 3 have been awful...

He has been amazing. I have my doubts about WAR, but Walden's is 3d highest, 1.2, on the pitching staff and highest in the bullpen. And it doesn't look like luck when he's out there. .

Christ, they are just toying with Chavis now. This is what I don't like about a kid being here that does not belong here.

Chavis getting beat with an 89 mile an hour fastball at the top of the zone.

If he can’t catch up with that velocity, he’s in big trouble

A walk to JBJ to bring up Betts with 2 on?????? Managers should be allowed to bring a pistol to the mound and a couple of stretcher bearers.

That slider worked pretty well. All three near the middle of the zone, and the best Mookie could do was a lazy fly ball.
