Junis would have been out of the inning except for a mental error by his first baseman. MLB doesn't score mental errors as errors so Junis gives up 5 earned runs instead of 2.

Not wishing Chavis any ill, and hope he can be a big part of the future, probably at 1B. It's just so obvious that unless he makes some real changes in his approach at the plate, he will get abused by any pitcher with some control. needs more experience at a slightly lower level.

Sale does have 8 K's in 6 full innings but with only 73 pitches thereby saving his arm and the bullpen load, who may be needed tomorrow in the early start time game.
