A guy with 12 AB's on the season takes f***wit deep to score 2, and once again the Sox play from behind.

You had to ask!

I could feel it coming. So tired of the LOB's and failure with RISP by our better hitters.

Interesting stat that you won't get from NESN. E-rod with runners in scoring position allows a .365 BA and an OPS of over .1100, which is the highest in MLB. IOW, he's not really very good.

Exactly and people hem and haw that we need to keep him ?

No shock by any Redsox fan this is who Erod is .

Every single game it seems the starting pitcher must contribute a Porcello just to make the inferior opponents (strictly on paper) feel better.

ERod suffers from terminal gonad retraction when he has ducks on the pond. Jock and cup size shrinks to extra petite. Its only a matter of time with him. Quite possibly the only perennial number 5 starter in baseball.

I think E-rod suffers from a syndrome I've seen other pitchers endure, like Joe Kelly. It's called the million dollar arm and 10 cent brain syndrome.

Amen to both of you. He does short arm it when challenged. The TGR syndrome combined with DotP is terminal. I bet if he took the SAT his adversity score would be very high.

Well and then there is that. But we have literally seen him start to squeeze the ball too hard and have everything just straighten out on him. That Cutter was not doing much cutting. Almost like it landed where he threw it....exactly!

Jeez, aguy who can bunt. Who knew ?? Why would any big league hitter do that ?? Wasn't even a shift on.

Never understood why bad hitters with some speed don't learn the art of bunting. I'm talking to you, JBJ.

When this place was astro-turf, ground balls through 2nd base into the gap would scooter all the way to the wall.....maddening. "Ground ball past the 2nd baseman....and its a double". Hated this place then.

It's strange an outdoor park has turf. What was the reasoning?

Getting out played is inexcusable

I get the feeling that Dave & Jerry are really itching to let this team have it. It’s hard not to with starts like this vs the flippin’ Royals.

If they lay down at bat in the 4th, you may hear something. Eck and OB did say a few things in the Cleveland 14 run game, but then they looked at their paychecks again

Oh they sure did. CAN YOU BLAME THEM? Lol. Two hard hit baseballs find outs this inning.. I dunno if we’re snake bitten or what.

Heart of the lineup tees off, hits bullets and cannot get one through. Not the hitter's fault but more of that black cloud following the team around.
