We had a day off before the series with the rainout. Why can we not run the same guys out there tonight and take it. We have an off day Monday and there is no guarantee we have a lead tomorrow. Take the wins you can get

There is no prayer of a firesale Monday. Even if the Yankees sweep, which is far from guaranteed, the sox will still be the favorites for the second WC position. You just need to get into the tournament. No way DD punts after handing out all that long term cash as well as the entire lack of anything resembling talent in the minors beyond the guy you already brought up in Chavis

I'll admit it I took Andro back then .Crap made my 175 pound frame hit like a 235 pound beast .Andro worked and was sold at freaking GNC .I think the players in that era just took the best they could get there hands on and guess freaking what ??? I would vote Bonds ,Clemens ,Manny ,Palmeiro in a cocaine heartbeat even AROD .all of them are HOFers

I'm sure you read some of the other Forum threads where the winning of the game you are playing, when it is still competitive is not the real goal of the game. It is the assumption that things will work out over time.

Barry Bonds is honestly the most dominant athlete I’ve ever seen. Those numbers he put up, steroids or not are absolutely ridiculous.

Bonds hit 73 bombs in 153 games. He had a season with a .609(!!!) OBP. He had a season where he hit .370. Dude had over 2500 career walks... most players don’t get that many hits lol.

Agreed, nothing happens Monday but by late July, no significant improvement could bring some interesting possibilities. By his own standards, Betts is having an off year, as is JDM. My guess is they lose Betts after 2020 to higher dollars. Porcello is an FA that DD hasn't tried to sign yet. JD can opt out but if his back is hurt he won't be going willingly. Bradley is a wild card himself at the deadline. Chavis will be kept because of the price , control and potential. But DD does have some radical moves that could be made
