Perhaps the oppo taco basehit a couple games ago has kept JBj from perma bench. he didnt K yesterday so i guess Cora is trying baby steps.

2 & 3 years ago i would have never said this - glad Price is back on the bump for us.

with JD day off we will need price to be good price.

I just don't see them straight up benching JBJ long term. They don't have decent options on the bench unless they really like JD in the OF. No matter what, JBJ's still going to start a ton of games and be given the opportunity to turn it around. He does still have an option remaining if they want to give him a breather for a few weeks to work on his swing.

agreed. i had predicted this past homestand was do or die for him. i am guessing he either showed a little better approach to give Cora hope or as stated many many times...we just dont have any options for CF/OF at the moment. maybe when Holt gets back they send JBj a message?

Statistically, we are playing with 2/3 of a team this afternoon/ Last 3 hitters a are .121, .144 and ,200. I wonder how many runs Benni and Mookey will get a chance to drive in!

You can tell JBJ is struggling with pitch recognition. Even when his swing isn't crap he struggles with pitch recognition. it has gotten so that when he does see something he thinks he should swing at that is actually something he should swing at he is too anxious and.......rolls over it. Watching JBJ "hit" is actually painful.

He’s too good to stay like this though. He will eventually get it together...... one would think....

Maybe he should try carrying his bat to the plate like its a baseball bat. He carries his bat around like its a uranium rod from a nuclear power plate or kryptonite. "Don't want to get too close to this thing."

Struggling with pitch recognition is practically epidemic in MLB right now . Everyone is looking to launch . I have never seen so many hitters chase breaking balls in the dirt as I see this year . There will be an all time high in strikeouts if this continues.

Now it's time for Devers to become the man and come through.

Will look like a line smash in the box score.

Skankees will be feasting on the birds again. Their schedule has been soft in the first half of the season. Hope it’s tougher the second half.

We should take 3 out of 4 or sweep. This team has to start winning more games.

If we don’t we have some ridiculous issues. Jays pitching is decent but that’s about it.

I might be getting too old for Rogers Center camera angles. Anybody that actually saw Beni catch that ball is a better man than me.
