Not a bad day for Price. Offense has us the lead. Up to the bullpen to sustain this now. With a couple insurance runs wouldn’t hurt of course.

Even the Bruins up 3-1, halfway through the second. Could be a Boston team sweep on Easter. Not a bad day if it lasts

Bruins up 3-1. In dominating fashion. Leafs have one shot in the second period lmao.

It’s been a weird series and the crazy part if it goes 7 leafs can still win in boston.

What is going on with Devers left arm ? It it something making him have that short arm swing ?

All I can make out is that hitch he has developed is making him late to the hitting zone and he is trying to catch up after that. You are never going to catch up. So if you know you are late to the hitting zone you have to deal with what is making you late as opposed to thinking you are going to catch up. He needs to get rid of that hitch as I have no idea where that came from.

Watch how he is stretching and grimacing as he tries to loosen the left arm or shoulder between pitches. Sure looks like a physical impingement, not just the resulting hitch that you commented on.

I don't remember Rafi crashing into anything this year though how would we really know. The crack NESN broadcast team is not going to say anything and Sox management isn't going to say anything unless they put a player on the IL.

Could have crashed into something. Watching Rafi play reminds me of my kids favorite cartoon character when they were young.....Scooby-Doo. Scooby would do something stupid and then look dumbfounded like he could not figure out that it was not a coincidence. Instead Scooby had once again dropped himself into the soup. New cartoon series....."The baseball adventures of Rafi and Scooby-doo". RUT-ROW!!!

Jung is correct that the NESN team of Remy and O'Brien seem to pass up some fairly obvious situations. But look at who signs their checks. Eckersley speaks truth to power

Wow, strong inning from Brewer which is a bit of a surprise. Maybe they can nail this one down an sweep the Rays, turning the season around.

In order for that to happen they have to keep winning. Got the tigers at home after this.

A sweep over the division leader would definitely go a long way! Need to get through these two innings though.

See what Rafi is doing in that swing? He is dropping into his swing, which he always does but then he has this hitch now after he drops the front shoulder. If you are going to trigger your swing with a hitch you have to do it before you drop or you are just never going to catch up. It almost looks like he has gotten frustrated with not showing much power so far this year and is reaching back for some extra muscle.
