Some credit goes to Chris Sale for chewing out his team in the 7th in the dugout and telling them to get things going

This team has the leadership needed.

Let's watch Sale be masterful tomorrow.

This team needs a legit closer next year!!!!!

Kimbrel is a legit closer; he's just not the closer he used to be. In his defense, most closers don't last as long as Kimbrel has. I doubt he'll be back next year, but he was a big factor during the regular season.

Kimbrel is a big reason we got such a huge lead in the division we could afford to rest Sale and others.

He seems burnt out.

Tomorrow, I'd go Sale, Price, Barnes, Brasier.

Giving up, imho, is turning off the TV when the game was 4-0. I doubt any of the posters here did that.

Heck no I was watching the entire time and was yelling and screaming at my TV. Then I was elated when Pierce got his hit. Kimbrel is a little much he makes it way too damn interesting.

Never count out this team.

Seriously, you should lose your job as moderator.

LOL!

I always say that when the other team scores and were struggling, its worked quite a bit.

I have to say a thank you to Dave Roberts. I was shocked that he took hill out lol.

He’s made a lot of critical errors in my opinion and we’ve taken advantage of almost all of them!

I'm not sure he's burnt out. Like I posted earlier, he seems to be less intense when it's not an actual save. He was pretty much like that during the regular season.

I've heard fans giving up on this team all year long.

It used to surprise me, but not anymore.

How many times does this team need to claw their way back?

This is the best Sox team I have ever seen. I know the best don't always win, but we gotta believe!

Cora is the best Sox manager of all time. Everybody is contributing, and when someone messes up, somebody(s) picks them up.

The team gave Eovaldi a standing O in the clubhouse last night.

This team is class, and I blame Cora for it.

Benni's hustle in this game wont be seen, as huge hit, but that hustle was the difference in this game. It got Pearce up.

Someone mentioned that if Roberts loses this series, he will be fired. I tend to agree. One can argue whether or not he's a good manager, but he definitely is a class act.

LOL.

The 'ole reverse psychology ploy.

Puig or Machado would have been out while pouting down the line.

Mookie might be the first guy ever to win season MVP and WS LVP in the same season. Amazing that a 108-win team that includes Betts, JD Martinez, and Chris Sale is being propelled to a WS win by Steve Pearce, Nathan Eovaldi, Eduardo Nunez, and Mitch Moreland.

I think Ian Kinsler has WS LVP locked up, Mookie needs to fight him for it.

I wouldn’t mind him on our coaching staff if he gets fired.

So many people, including some Sox fans, felt like this team could only win with Betts and JD thumping away.

This team is much more balanced than many gave them credit for being.

Our bench carried us.

Pearce, Holt, Leon, and even Moreland (who began as the back-up to HRam) and Devers (who had been demoted to the bench) all had big hits.

How about a shout out to Mitch! I owe him an apology for all the negative things I've said about him recently.

You weren't the only one.

How many times has someone looked so bad only to have a big game (or hit) right afterwards?
