Ugh doesn’t get any closer than that. Poms isn’t pitching bad. Our offense needs to get it together.

Also looked like he maybe touched his pant leg there ?

Any idea where the plate is tonight because I have no idea. Is it floating around like a magic carpet?

I am wondering why Mitch is in this lineup tonight. His back looks like s*** when he swings.

He bails out on every swing. Hard to hit that way.

Isn't pitching bad? He's walked 5 and hit a batter, given up 3 hits and given up numerous liners/deep fly outs. he sucks.

After watching Pomeranz slop it up, I said pregame if he can go 5 and only give up 2 runs, the Sox should win. The hitters should not be confused by Arrietta or else he would still be in Chicago. Time for JDM to wake him up. Between last night and so far tonight, it's a team slump with RISP

Compared to what he has thrown in the past we still have a f***ing chance. I thought if our offense came out dead like this it would be a blow out but we are only down two. He hasn’t been great but score wise it’s 2-0. The offense is what’s f***ing us over right now plain and simple.

We only have a chance because he's getting lucky. His stuff still still sucks. Just because the offense hasn't done good and Pomeranz is doing less s***** than normal, doesn't mean he's pitching well.

It is time to purge all players with name Drew. Remember the asshat Stephen Drew, who Cherington thought was the 2nd coming of Joe Morgan? And who can forget J.D. Drew, the oft injured right fielder, who missed many a game due to ovarian cysts and his period.

Maybe the key guys are saving their hits for the Yankee series. Good idea guys, you will just bust it out on demand. this is a very winnable game IF Drew gets you out of the 5th only down 2-0

I didn’t say he’s been great. Just said he isn’t bad tonight. There’s also been some questionable calls on balls in my opinion

JD Drew hit a crucial grand slam in an elimination game and overall had a very good career in Boston. Stephen Drew was huge contributor on the world series team. But yeah... Purge two key guys from WS teams...

If anything, he's been getting calls from the umpire, this guy has a wide zone.

One big hit in six years. We should expect more. Ask Bogaerts about Stephen Drew. He cost him a year of development at SS.

I know the offense has been frustrating since yesterday, which Nola had a lot to do with. And Arietta isn't a bum. The only thing I can come up with to defend this team is , wait for it, wait for it, 75-33.

JD was good 4/5 years in Boston, stop being dumb.. and Drew was still a huge contributor in 2013.

With a day off tomorrow, Cora needs to seriously consider the pen starting the 6th. He is playing with fire in Pomeranz. One of the signs of a tough pitcher is what he does with two outs. A hard single and HBP isn't the answer. Can he avoid the bomb ???
