Gotta love JBJr , did just enough to get the run in. Devers has significant problems sliding, in many instances, and may have hurt himself. Vazquez does nothing with his opportunity

No, Erod was highly economical today but had to PH for him to try and score the second run, which came on a ball 4 wild pitch

ERod stunningly good today, and we definitely needed him to be. Trust me when I say it is really hot out there and we are coming up on 3 hours.

Now today is great example of how a Catcher wins a game, without contributing on the Offensive side. It's gravy any hits. He has called a beauty so far. Also he doesn't jump around like he did earlier in his career.

I'm with you. Either one of those two can be fun to watch when they are on. When Erod has that changeup going he's almost un-hittable.

 

When Porcello has good movement and control, it's fun to watch.
