Neck tat is in the game

And he blinded Judge and Stanton with his good stuff but gives up the 2 out hit.

He is making contact tonight, but he still has no concept of the strike zone. Like Nunez.

...and like Adrian Beltre.

Last night and tonight shows clearly why the WC as opposed to the AL East winner is such a dangerous coin flip. Who shows up on that one day ?

The only good thing I see if the SOX end up a WC is that they won't have to face Sabathia.

Devers has his OPS up to .741 now!

It was at .694 just 4 games ago.

He's 9 for his last 16.

5 for 5. WTF? BAM

Good day to you, SoxHop. Glad to see that San Antonio didn't kill you.

Howdy. Bitching a bit, but having a great time. This is actually an amazing city. Lots of museums, history and art. Lots of good stuff here for a long weekend, wish we had more time.

Would love a win tomorrow.

Good to hear. I always thought Austin was the music city in Texas.

Friendly advice. Before you turn in tonight, check that the mute on your TV works.

LOL.

I need to find the radio feed for Sunday's game.

Austin is small. We have tons of good and bad small time and local bands. You can find good live music any night. But bigger names don't stop in Austin. I've already seen ads for some larger bands I may travel to San Antonio to see, those bands won't go to Austin.

Sorry, because of umpire vision I read 'museums' as 'music.' It's a bitch getting old.

You are still kind of right, like I mentioned.

I did basic training in San Antonio back in '64. The DI gave us a day off to visit The Alamo. Major disappointment and the Crockett Hotel across the street was off limits to military personnel. Something relating to hookers.

Sale did show up as the Ace, after a terrible team night before. Stopped NYY and set the tone, after Devers 4 run bomb. Takes a lot of pressure off tomorrow night. No team would want to face Severino with a "must" win. Now a victory tomorrow would be a real statement in Yankee stadium.

Well it would be nice to see price pitch well against the skankees for starters

The wife and I are at the Crockett hotel right freakin now. I guess that explains all those waist high holes in bathroom stalls?

The Alamo sucks in a way, but there are four other missions we visited that were incredible. Beautiful.

Hey, for a Texan you're not a bad guy.

I'm a great guy for a Texan. And that's because I'm from Maine originally. I'm an alien here with a strange accent, these people are nutz, I wonder how I ended up here almost daily.

Actually the middle of the line Texans are great people. Love them, but that kind of stands for anywhere I've been thought the States and World.

Well, that explains it. Maine gave the world Stephen King and for that I will always be grateful.

We've found it very difficult to make very close friends here in Texas.

My wife is from Mexico and has friends from work but nothing really close or special.

We've become very close friends to the parents of our daughter's boyfriend, which is a blessing. Our daughter and her boyfriend started dating in 7th grade, first love for both, and are about to finish up at A & M next year. Wow, right?

I like it here in Texas, but I'd prefer to live in a New England (Maine) with 4 seasons of summer.

Has Swihart ever hit a HR for the big club ? I've only seen warning track barely .
He has about 2 or 3 more weeks with the club at most. He's useless.
