Either way, its a pretty cool story. Vegas winning as an expansion team, or DC finally getting over the hump and winning.

I'm in Fairfax County and sort of root for the Caps. Hard to root for the Wizards.

DRob coughed it up for the Yanks. Walked the first 2 guys he faced and then gave up a bases-clearing double.

If DRob is losing it, the Yanks pen could be a big issue for them.

Yanks lose 12-10 after leading 10-5. Now that's a beautiful thing.

The race between the Yanks and the SOX will come down to pitching and defense. As long as you score enough runs to win, that's all that matters. Offensive stats are over-rated; pitching and defensive stats are not.

The lead story on the New York Post site right now is about the Mets bullpen blowing tonight's game. Wait till the story on the Yankees game gets up there. :D

Gotta give major props to our boys! Back to winning games they should win!

That's a good thing. Sites like this need mods. J-Bay is fantastic. I would have banned all your asses weeks ago for small infractions.

That's why, as much as I enjoy your company on the site, you were not on the short list, hahaha

Now that we are well into the season it should be obvious that the strength of this team is the rotation. Viewed on a relative basis what this team rolls out there every game is simply way above what other teams can roll out there. Even when a team like the Rays that has to have a bullpen game out of every 5 but can set up its rotation to put its best foot forward vs the Sox rotation, barely holds its own against us. Snell might turn out to out pitch us in this game coming up. But I would not bank on that against Rick. Edited by jung

Our bullpen has generally been quite good too, better than it's given credit for IMO.

The much-maligned Barnes now has a 2.61 ERA (2.81 FIP) and a 1.07 WHIP.

You are a game thread classic, man.

Thanks. Offense could be better but i hope it starts to warm up in June and July.
