Somebody tell me again please just why Holt gets so much love and money and Lin is lucky to get into maybe 5 games a season?

 

To me Holt has outlasted his usefulness because he's below average at 7 different positions and can't hit and is slow on the basepaths.

JBJ at lead off is beyond dumb ...should have been Nuney,Benny ,JD ,Hanley then who ever...that's a starting 4 .

 

All Sox righties are helpless against that slider it seems, so Nunez is unlikely to have helped. JD and Hanley have already demonstrated their helplessness against Bundy.

This one has been. lots of long counts for Sale resulting in long innings, and offensively the Sox can't even make contact and don't exactly have the "A" lineup in.

Moreland has one of our two hits, a double, so hard to give him a B. And righty Nunez, I feel confident, would bring zippo to this lineup and not much more to the infield.

Mookie and Xander being out weakens the outfield defense, and gives Holt more AB's, and apparently leads to JBJ batting lead off.
