it can happen. My old boss who is Anthony Reali's dad was at a Yankee-Pirates game years ago. When the game started, my boss said that he thought Randazzo would give the Yankees a call before the night was out. Sure enough, on what was very clear to the naked eye, the Pirates had appeared to have turned a game ending ending double play. Randazzo called the runner safe. He was out by at least half of a step. The Yankees rallied and won. We asked my boss how he could make such a prediction. He told us that Randazzo s family had just opened an Italian American Sports Museum and Steinbrenner sent them a $50,000 donation. I was seething mad about it.

It is a rookie mistake, but I don't think the coaching staff works on the issue. They chalk it up to aggressiveness on the bases.
