That was a must bunt situation to get the winning run to 3rd. Farrell didn't realized that pitching changes neutralizes Young matchup.

Total interference. Moreland should have tagged 1st, then threw to 2nd. He made a small mistake, but, it's interference.

True that it was an obvious bunt situation. And that the pitching change should have modified Farrell's thinking. So what happened in that managerial cranium? Does he have info that Young is a lousy bunter? Or was he just riding the feelz, like, "I'm still feeling confident in Young swinging away here"? I guess we'll never know.
