This is beyond pathetic though. Good pitching is good pitching so it's understandable but all we need is a couple runs porcello has been amazing. We aren't asking this team to score double digit runs but this is unacceptable

Gausman is hit and miss but he does have games like this where when we is on.... he's on and doesn't look back. At the same time sometimes this just happens to teams. Offenses gets cold sometimes. It's unfortunate that it's two straight days of this cap though

It's the fact that this team can't push a sing run across. They are built for on-base and getting hits, not just HRs. They have the speed to steal and put pressure on on the base paths. One run shouldn't be an issue, even against great pitching. They just need to capitalize when they have any opportunity... But they just keep squandering them instead.

Whatever Gausman was throwing, especially the fast ball, our guys just could not hit. Four singles. And lots of fastballs down the middle that were missed or fouled off. Porcello pitched well.

Porcello showed me a lot tonight. He gave up that early dinger, but never buckled under and went 8 innings. I think Price is our ace, but have to admit Porcello is also a good choice--and a better choice for the Cy Young. This was a big game, and Porcello delivered.
